How can we get people to understand that even though they have a Million dollars today, and

They lose pre-existing conditions, They could be in the poor house in ONE YEAR! I just don't get their thinking!! (maybe because they ARE NOT THINKING) How can we get through to them?

serious medical problem, or extensive surgeries, you're just not aware of how much those things cost. I'm personally amazed when I get a bill for an uncomplicated surgery and see what they charged. I had a leg fracture repaired It only took 30 mins. a I went home the same day. The bill for just the surgery was $75,000! On top of that they charged for use of the OR & recovery rooms. If I hadn't experienced that myself, I'd have never guessed it would have cost that much/

to denying coverage for pre-existing conditions. There are a lot of GOPers afraid of the same thing.

Truly hope you are right! Probably STILL have it BUT man the premiums would be unaffordable!
