How can we get people to understand that even though they have a Million dollars today, and

4. How right you are! Most people don't understand that. If or anyone you're close to never had a

serious medical problem, or extensive surgeries, you're just not aware of how much those things cost. I'm personally amazed when I get a bill for an uncomplicated surgery and see what they charged. I had a leg fracture repaired It only took 30 mins. a I went home the same day. The bill for just the surgery was $75,000! On top of that they charged for use of the OR & recovery rooms. If I hadn't experienced that myself, I'd have never guessed it would have cost that much/

5. Definitely understand the concern, but don't believe it is likely we'll go back

to denying coverage for pre-existing conditions. There are a lot of GOPers afraid of the same thing.
