A father transported from a rehab center was left in a wheelchair outside a home in the rain, a family said.
The rehab center said in a statement it ensures patients are safe and stable, and have all needs provided for when they leave the facility. The 78-year-old was at Charlotte Health and Rehabilitation Center for about a month, WSOC-TV reported.
But then an issue arose Feb. 13 with his insurance.
The center requested Maxine Rozzelle, his daughter, be at the facility in 25 minutes, and when that wasnt possible, a transportation service took him home, she told the TV station.
Im still overwhelmed, Rozzelle said.

(27,061 posts)But I will clarify that is true based on insurance companies.
Doctors and other healthcare personnel are entitled to a living wage - in other words, they should profit from their labor.
However, the whole "health insurance" scheme is nothing but a racket.

FWIW, the company responsible for his relocation broke the law.
