Speck, the confessed murderer of eight student nurses in 1966, and who died in 1991 while serving a 1200 year prison sentence, was fully pardoned today. Trump stated, Yeah, I know what some people said about him but he had XYY syndrome and was just an ultra-manly man.
Pardons for John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer are reportedly in the works.

(12,265 posts)Richard Speck was a pox on humanity. I will never forget reading the stories in the Tribune about that case. One nurse hid under the bed and heard her friends murdered. He was a very very very bad man. I am not fond of capital punishment but he more than deserved it. My Dad said they should just let him loose and tell the fathers what day and time.
