"the always used National Security excuse" - is Trump's Twitter account now attacking him?

We know that various people have access to his Twitter account. One of them - could be an underling, could be Miller, could be Trump with dementia - is now saying that using "National Security" in trade wars is just an excuse. But the only person putting it forward as an excuse was Trump:
