How Does It Feel, Republicans?

Just a few questions I’d like the MSM to ask of the GOP spokes-whores who appear on their shows …

How does it feel to know you’ve abandoned every principle you ever laid claim to?

How does it feel to realize that the snarling dog you’ve un-muzzled is not just mean – he’s foaming-at-the-mouth rabid?

How does it feel to watch the rule of law crumbling before your eyes, knowing you’ve caused its downfall?

How does it feel to hear your “pResident” openly admit post-acquittal to the very conduct he denied pre-acquittal?

How does it feel knowing that whatever power you once had, you have now rendered
yourself powerless to do anything?

Can you explain what ‘lesson’ Trump learned by being impeached – aside from the obvious lesson that he can do whatever he wants without any restrictions whatsoever?

What do you fear more: Your country becoming a dictatorship, or Trump tweeting something nasty about you?

Just some serving suggestions. Feel free to add your own.

They pledged their fortunes, their blood, and their sacred honor.

In my own family, that meant losing 12,000 acres of land in upper NY with its profitable saw mill, and escaping hanging after being imprisoned.

And here these lily-livered collaborateurs capitulate at the thought of mean tweets and nicknames.

Governorship of Virginia when Thomas Jefferson became otherwise occupied. I believe he signed the Declaration. As the revolution progressed and the rebels needed money, he sold all 400+ of his slaves to buy weaponry and supplies for Yorktown. I wonder where they went. I'm not thrilled to have the richest, I think, slave owner in Va. in my tree, but he did put his money where his mouth was. The state government was supposed to repay him, but they didn't, so like your ancestor, mine lost it all.

I have come to realize that there are those who hate a Democratic Republic form of government. I knew that there were some people who despised our wonderful form of government, but now I see there is a sizable and formidable group, worldwide at that, who want total and complete power. They want to create a society of serfs/slaves and the elite. Nothing in between. At present those in power, elected republicons and/or those appointed by the current administration, are playing their part to perfection.

I apologize if I sound too depressing, but I am a realist at heart. We can though, no we must, continue to fight with righteous political might and for the ideals of democracy. To paraphrase Churchill's greatest speech:

"we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender..."

In other words: Never give up!!

they never adhered to any of the principles they laid claim too, in the first place. "Principles" to these lowlife scoundrels are weapons they use to accuse others of lacking. And their people vote for them because their voters, most of them, are ignorant of their own best interests and eager to accept the basest and most outrageous lying propaganda about Democrats as long as it allows them to comfortably justify and maintain their own ignorance.

As long as they are winning, then all is good. They have absolutely no self reflection of what they really are, nor is it hard for them to look themselves in the mirror.

Democratic Party: Stop insisting that republicans are your friends that will come around and do the right thing. They will NOT. They have been stabbing you in the back every chance they get, no matter how much they sucked up to you at cocktail parties and no matter how long your children have been "friends" that play together. Get off the 'they are just like us' fantasy.

In a Gallup poll released Tuesday, Trump earned an approval rating of 49 percent, the highest since he took office. This, Gallup says, is due to Trump's job approval rising among both Republicans and independents; he rose six points among Republicans to 94 percent approval, and five points among independents to 42 percent approval.

Trump's approval among Democrats, though, slipped from 10 percent to seven percent, creating an 87-point gap between Democrats and Republicans, which Gallup says is the largest Democratic-Republican approval gap it has ever measured.

That's the scariest thing.

I'm sure that there are senior Retrumplican politicians, media members, funders, businessmen and CEOs that are up to their eyeballs in illegal shit. I'm talking stuff that would make Benedict Arnold and Nixon blush.

The Retrumplicans also know that there is a papertrail like a tickertape parade on VE Day that will expose them to multiple felony convictions.

They also know that the only way they can keep that papertrail hidden is to ensure they control who can release it.

THEY WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO ENSURE THEIR CRIMES ARE NEVER EXPOSED

When I say they will do "anything"... I fucking mean it.

They will murder people in the streets.

They will arrest and jail political opponents.

They will royally fuck with our elections, even if it means Martial Law.

There's shit they did after Obama was elected, through to today that would make the most hardened criminal wince.

They were terrified by the Obama coalition. They were facing decades out of power, if they survived at all.

You think getting in bed with Donnie Shit for Brains and Putin was beyond them? If so, you've not paid attention.

If Democrats take back the White House and Senate and have access to the papertrail of Retrumplican crimes, they're screwed.

There are going to be Retrumplicans that will be required to flee the country like the Vichy French and Nazi Sympathizers to avoid dying in a federal prison.

They will do anything, and stoop to the level of amphibian shit to save their sorry asses.

We really have one chance to stop it.

This must have been what it felt like during the Civil War.

It probably feels like supreme victory. Nothing is sacred in the pursuit of power.

If we don't pull together, we will end up with the government we deserve.....

While we have been sleeping the Republicans have gained all of the real power in the country. In just a few months, while we fight among ourselves, unwilling to compromise, the Republicans will seal the final victory with the reelection of Trump. A couple more Supreme Court justices and a few hundred more Federal judges and liberalism will become totally irrelevant if not extinct. This may be our last chance for generations to avoid rule by the monster.

Steppenwolf – Monster Lyrics
Monster

Once the religious, the hunted and weary
Chasing the promise of freedom and hope
Came to this country to build a new vision
Far from the reaches of kingdom and pope
Like good Christians, some would burn the witches
Later some got slaves to gather riches

But still from near and far to seek America
They came by thousands to court the wild
And she just patiently smiled and bore a child
To be their spirit and guiding light

And once the ties with the crown had been broken
Westward in saddle and wagon it went
And 'til the railroad linked ocean to ocean
Many the lives which had come to an end
While we bullied, stole and bought our a homeland
We began the slaughter of the red man

But still from near and far to seek America
They came by thousands to court the wild
And she just patiently smiled and bore a child
To be their spirit and guiding light

The blue and grey they stomped it
They kicked it just like a dog
And when the war over
They stuffed it just like a hog

And though the past has it's share of injustice
Kind was the spirit in many a way
But it's protectors and friends have been sleeping
Now it's a monster and will not obey

(Suicide)
The spirit was freedom and justice
And it's keepers seem generous and kind
It's leaders were supposed to serve the country
But now they won't pay it no mind
'Cause the people grew fat and got lazy
And now their vote is a meaningless joke
They babble about law and order
But it's all just an echo of what they've been told
Yeah, there's a monster on the loose
It's got our heads into a noose
And it just sits there watchin'

Our cities have turned into jungles
And corruption is stranglin' the land
The police force is watching the people
And the people just can't understand
We don't know how to mind our own business
'Cause the whole worlds got to be just like us
Now we are fighting a war over there
No matter who's the winner
We can't pay the cost
'Cause there's a monster on the loose
It's got our heads into a noose
And it just sits there watching

(America)
America where are you now?
Don't you care about your sons and daughters?
Don't you know we need you now
We can't fight alone against the monster
