My fellow Americans, men and women of all Parties and persuasions.

It is time to look into our hearts and decide what kind of country we want to be?

It is time to examine our souls and decide what direction we want to go?

It is not about the economy, the stock market, personal wealth or comfort.

It is about decency, compassion, brotherhood, and better lives for our children and grandchildren. It is about making the world a better place than we found it.

It is not about political Parties or political leaders. It is about our fellowmen. We cannot survive in a world, isolated within our own desires.

We must not promote those that seek to tear down and divide our country. We must unite behind the common good. We should not support those that tear at the fabric that our forefathers and mothers have created. We should defend it with every breath of our being.

Let us unite as Americans. Let us build up that which has been passed to us. Let us not follow the siren song of partisanship and division.

Let us protect the precious freedom we have been granted.

(This is the message I wish to hear from our Democratic candidates)

I am hoping that the in-your-face madness il drumpf is flinging in every direction will wake enough people up to what we are in danger of losing. Beyond that, a re-commitment to our higher values as a reaction to this horror show.

And to all for the kind remarks.

I do believe this is the contrast that we have to make with the corrupt power mongers now in charge.

Americans have been kept in a soft, cozy blanket for so long. The blanket is slipping off and many don’t know what to do.

“FUCK YOU”

Because that’s where we have devolved to. There is a significant number of people who seem to have, as their primary reason for voting for Trumpy, or even voting Republican, a joy for simply pissing off “the libtards”.

And you know it.

is that they just can't. I always use NT allusions when possible because most people are familiar with it and they're accurate. Jesus compares the soul to a mustard seed, capable of growth. When a persons moral gravity, the soul, is so small, it can't make a dent in that person's brain activity, which is all about self preservation. Jesus explains this by describing 4 different soils with different reactions to spirit. Two are just impervious. One actually corrupts spiritual input. Just one is capable of receiving spirit and that soil, that soul, will grow. So, Jesus tells us that a whole heckuva lot of humanity just can't be reached, at least not at any given time. Jesus also presents the God system's remedy. We all have to "work the vineyard," a metaphor for cultivating the nature of spirit, the Good. Those mustard seed souls will be sent by the deity in charge of incarnating to earth and they'll labor long and hard, but eventually they'll get their pay...not having to incarnate into the world of death. Some souls won't need to incarnate as long, having already developed their souls. Others will get paid in no earth time at all, comparatively!

It doesn't take a genius to draw conclusions. People who just can't understand why others are bullies, or measure success by wealth, or by some material measure...looks, degree titles, wherever... have more developed souls. Mind receives input from brain and soul. If your soul is seed size, the mind will listen to brain and search for a feeling of success via the material modes. The more developed soul affects its mind and the more that person strives to help others...animals, people, the environment...the more pleasure, satisfaction, that person's mind feels.

I think that sums up the basic difference between Democrats and republicans. Democrats want to help whatever needs help, whether by social relief programs, affordable health, fair access to banking, voting, campaigning, beneficial earth laws. The republicans are content to insure affluence for a few, erase job protections for workers if it affects profit, deny all people access to a quality education, pollute our planet for the sake of not disrupting max revenue. It is completely impossible for the developed soul to so hide itself as to allow purely material values to rule its mind.

You mentioned decency, compassion, brotherhood...those are soul qualities...and I can make an educated guess as to the status of your soul...St. Paul would call you "mature," able to eat meat instead of the baby food he has to feed his infant members!

Yes, we need to keep pushing the sort of qualities you list. That's the only way to reach the souls which are slightly developed. If everything is a material issue...heath care, banking, the environment, etc....that doesn't necessarily reach soul...it should, but not guaranteed. We also need to stress soul qualities, as you did. We don't have to say "soul," because the soul will recognize its qualities.

Whew! I overdid it!❤
