THE RNC BEGAN RIGGING THE 2020 REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES IN FAVOR OF TRUMP ALREADY WAY BACK IN JANUARY 2019.https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/427003-rnc-votes-to-give-trump-undivided-support-ahead-of-2020
Republican National Committee (RNC) members voted on Friday to throw the partys undivided support behind President Trump ahead of his 2020 reelection bid as speculation continues to mount about potential primary challengers.
The resolution unanimously approved by the RNC at its winter meeting in New Mexico offered undivided support for President Donald J. Trump and his effective Presidency.
While the resolution is largely symbolic, it is also unusual, because the RNC has historically refrained from expressing support for a candidate before he officially becomes the partys nominee.

(25,396 posts)4. The SC GOP primary was cancelled. Perhaps to appease Trump .. but
Now SC GOPers are planning to crash the SC Democratic primaries next week. Since the GOP cancelled their primary this year, and since there is no SC law requiring one to affirm party affiliation, they can (and will) cross vote in the Democraic primary. And they plan to do just that, en masse. Ratfuckery: It is what the GOP does best.
