Prosecutors recommended a sentence about twice as long. I thought she’d come in on the short side of their range, but not half as long.

9. Disappointing, but not surprising.

The ball is in Dolt45's court now. He needs Stone to believe he's going to pardon him if he just stays loyal, but actually doing it removes Stone's incentive to keep quiet. OTOH, the more of his sentence Stone actually serves the more impatient he's going to get with Trump. Quite a pickle.
