So, if Stone's spokesperson is asking for a pardon, she's admitting he's guilty ...

... and therefore there's no need for any retrial or any crap like that. That's how American law and pardons work, isn't it? Accepting a pardon, or even asking for one, requires an admission of guilt.

In a new statement, a spokesperson for Roger Stone denounced Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s handling of his sentencing and called on Trump to pardon him.




“It falls on President Trump to use the power of a pardon as the final means of checks and balances to right this horrible wrong,” Davis said.

You can't say "we want an appeal" and "we want a pardon" in the same statement.

It must suck to be a criminal caught criming as criminals are won’t to do. Law abiding folk frown on that.
