an awful lot of extremist right wingers live near me, neighbors, others in my county, and they, alone, will re-elect him. It is disgusting all the way around. We are right back to helplessly watching another extremist right winger get a second term, a lame duck term, and he is not even waiting to openly do every corrupt thing he can. He is already doing it with cover from the Senate and knows full well he will never have to pay for all of the bad crap he is doing. I'm so disgusted by that horrid Trump AND his supporters.

In my lifetime, there have been 3 Democratic presidents and 6 Republican presidents. Let that sink in for a minute or two. In 49 years, that is what we have had. I am happy to have been born in a time when my favorite music was made, but not at all happy with the overall political climate. America is devolving from the great trajectory it was once on. It is now the Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia of the west. We are the backwards family members from Bumfukt that the rest of the family (the rest of the western countries, the civilized ones) dread having to be around over the holidays. Maybe Mother Nature or McDonald's will do us a solid and overrule all these Trumplodytes that live all around me in the belly of the beast down here in the Bible Belt. I can dream.

But, yet, Russia helped, which pisses me off. Nothing is getting done about that or voting machine rigging or absentee ballot stealing (see Harris, NC 9th District, House of Representatives, election 2018. Harris got away with it, in a way, because nothing was done and the Republicans got to pick a new nominee and win anyhow.) or any of the other underhanded, outright illegal vote stealing methods the Republican Party uses to get elected.

Meanwhile, Democrats are sniping each other and ignoring the fact that the deck is stacked against Democratic voters come November 2020. I feel like I will be going through the motions to vote from now until the rest of my life, because no one is doing anything about the Russian control of our voting system, the hacking, the vote stealing, voting machine rigging and hacking, and all of the other illegal things the Republican Party is openly doing.

That is one of only two complaints I have about the Democratic Party; we are way too lenient on Republicans who break the law. They (the Republicans) are so strict on Democrats that they will use anything within their reach to bring us down including impeaching one of ours for a blowjob. But, Democrats will do nothing to hold the GOP accountable, no matter what they do. We are too lenient with them. That is why I was so happy to see Pelosi finally put impeachment ON the table this time around. It felt good to see Democrats fighting back. Now, if we could just find a way to get a majority in the Senate and impeach Trump on all of his other crap and finally get a conviction. I'm not overly optimistic anything will get done about the election fraud that will give that disgusting man another 4 years though.

I cannot change how stupid the Republicans in my area are. Them and their stupid wall. Don't they realize countries build walls and tell citizens it is to keep "the other" out, then turn around and use that wall to keep citizens in? It is never a good sign when a country has an authoritarian leader who wants to start building walls, but Republicans are so willfully ignorant/stupid (both could be argued in various circumstances) that they just want to do anything that disgusting Trump wants.

Yes, the Russians helped, but the willfully ignorant/stupid Americans who voted for him did an awful lot of the work too. Apparently, it's hands off Russia in our current Trump leaning government. That leaves the stupid Americans that voted for the choad. We cannot and will not change them. So, we are doomed to wait this horrid next 1793 days, 15 hours, and 49 minutes to finally try to undo the immense amount of damage to our courts alone. Never mind all of the other damage elsewhere.
