If something should happen, and the department head of the federal agency tasked with the role of stopping such attacks based upon reasonable intelligence reports, failed to even do the bare minimum of what their task is in that department or federal agency, they should be charged with treason, aiding and abetting the enemy, along w/ rump, who continues to put the Country's national security interests at risk. It's not clear how Trump came to be Putin's willing puppet, other than narcissism and money, but the GOP has been cultivating extremism and eliminating others from their party for years. It's now a cult so in love with Russia's oligarchy and it's white supremacist policies that the GOP is willing to destroy our democracy to attain what Russia has.

Everything he does has their approval. A few of them may make noises about it, but none of them take real action to stop him.

He is the undisputed leader of their party, and they are responsible for all the damage he has done and continues to do.
