Could Democrats be holding onto the worst scandals until late October?

You don't want to show your best material too early or people will forget. There are all these investigations into Trump's finances etc. going on and we don't seem to be hearing much right now.

Thoughts?

announcement of 'concern' was, and it worked.

For some reason, his followers worship the perception of his wealth and business acumen

If he's proven to be a loser, they'll internalize it as loser-dom for them too, and turn on him

some Democrats could do that
some Democrats would do that
others can't and won't, and they'd "win" by default

there's plenty more to be uncovered, of course, but if it doesn't come up until October then it was hidden until August.

plus, Trump prefers doing his scandals openly in public now anyway.

We all already know Trump is horrible. A new example of horrible won’t change anything. A video of Russian whores peeing on him while he has sex with 13 year old Ivanka won’t reduce his support even one tenth of one percent. We all already know Trump is horrible.

I'd think that we would have already played that card by now. That way, we could be working on Pence. Waiting until last minute means they would just slide Pence in. And he's way worse than Trump! Trump is as subtle as a honeymoon pecker while Pence is smarter and slyer and therefore more dangerous. He needs to be dealt asap.

That’s rhetorical, not a challenge. I’d love it if there’s a bombshell (or two, or three) to be dropped, but we’re already at a constitutional/existential crisis-point in our fading democracy.

I also wonder what’s left in the way of offenses that will actually outrage Republicans: assaulting women didn’t sink Trump; neither did colluding with Russia, or damning our free press, nor personal enrichment by channeling $$$ into Trump enterprises, or by freeing a rat’s nest of scofflaws, nor breaking all kinds of laws in broad daylight. What’s left in the way of lawlessness that will bring 45 down, when he’s got a cult following and a major propaganda outlet propping him up?

And yet if there’s still some *major* dirt, by all means fling away, but strategically.

That would come to light three weeks before the GOP Convention that would send their convention into total batshit disarray. They end up nominating Romney again as the only prick to ever stand up to Trump. I know. I know. Probably not happening.
