done exactly what he is doing now.

If the House decided not to impeach after hearing all the clear and compelling evidence of Trump's treasonous behavior, because we knew the Senate wouldn't convict, he would still have gone on this lawless rampage.

To think appeasing him would temper him was foolhardy. I also doubt the failure of the Senate makes him look innocent.
