He seems to have streaks of reality in his reporting and they seem to. be getting more frequent.

Wallace is somewhere @ 70. I am wondering if he is thinking of his legacy. His dad had a great reputation and worked with the likes of Cronkite and Murrow. Maybe that is it?

Mike Wallace was a Republican. I think it was his bio on Wikipedia. So was the producer (Don Hewitt?), and Steve Kroft, and Scott Pelley.

So professional in their journalism you'd almost never think about their political afilliation. Sure they had a slant, but subtle. Of course Republicans were mild back then.
