1. Ha!

I went out to dinner with my best girlfriend. (We met and became friends in 4th grade, roomed together in college, were in each other’s weddings, and have now both part the half century mark. During dinner, she told me that her brother (a state trooper) and his wife have not vaccinated their 3 children. This is not a friend I want to lose, but I blurted out, “I really do not agree with that. It’s a dangerous game they are playing with the lives of their children and with people like me.” I’m a chemo patient. If I run into a kid with the mumps, I could die. Luckily, her response was, “I totally agree!”
These are not stupid people, yet here they are doing a stupid thing. I don’t get it.
