(13,485 posts)If there is a pandemic over the horizon and we won't have a vaccine until 2021, we will need to survive this thing. Now would be the time to eat healthily and work on our cardio. Wouldn't hurt in any case.

(3,299 posts)129 out of the 161 new cases today. this is where the major battle will need to take place to stop the spread. numbers in other cities are still manageable.

(13,485 posts)Face it, it's already global. The outbreak in Italy almost looks like China in early January only spread out. South Korea and Italy are what I'm concerned about at this point. The spread potential is wide. Canada had two on a flight and the passengers have been in the open. Washington state has hundreds under surveillance in one area.

(3,299 posts)The interesting thing here is that most of this increase by multiples in the last few days in South Korea is the result of one anti-science secretive and manipulative religious cult that still is resisting the government efforts to disclose all its members.
All of the shincheonji cult facilities in Kyeongido will be shut down. Public assembly venues in Seoul will be blockaded by police.
Measures to limit the epidemic, protect public health, and prevent the breakdown of public order still need to be pursued and maintained.
