The announcers went on and on about how it showed what a "rock star" Trump is in India, how popular he is and what high esteem he is held by the Indian people.

My guess is, once he started talking, they stopped giving out the free food.

Faced with the prospect of listening to Burger Boy for two hours, most chose wisely and left.

But folks had been in the stadium (or waiting to get in) for a long time before the speeches. And the temperatures were approaching 90 degrees. Reports indicate people were excited to see Modi, but by the time Trump spoke, a significant number were tired, bored and ready to get out of there.

It was really hot and there was no wind.

That could explain why Trump looked so bad.
