The stock market is indicating a Covid-19 economic disruption - R U prepared?

Is your household ready for a 14-day in-home quarantine (or longer).

If not, the time is NOW to get ready.

Not after a local community outbreak - which is what happens in a pandemic.

When a local outbreak is identified, it is too late.

Infected individuals will be in the community spreading the virus, and supermarkets/gas stations/Walmart/Walgreens et al. are NOT the place you want to be.

Think of it like getting prepared for hurricane season on the Gulf Coast, FL, or SE US.

The time to get ready is BEFORE they issue a hurricane warning.

If you are late to the game - store shelves will be empty and gas stations will have run out of fuel (seen this happen in FL time and time again).

Food, water, toilet paper and pet supplies may be things you might want to stock up on.

You will use them and your pets will use them - at some point - so it is just prudent to stock up.

Unlike a hurricane, however, Covid-19 will have nationwide economic effects that can not be forecast.

I don't like any of this at all.

It has the potential to kill me (older male) and younger members of my family that are nurses and physicians - and work in homeless shelters.

Again - the time is now.

needs to start buying bottled water. Loss of power would be a problem but not food or water.
