Motivated Dems and Inds against a very unenthusiastic base to turn out for Mitch. Those former Mitch fans probably want the Democrat to win in their districts to deal with their situation. All those Democratic bills that Mitch won't bring to vote are hurting them and us.

Know what un-employed coal miners need? Not coding jobs. Decentralized energy installation and maintenance.

We can't get rid of the Turtle soon enough to suit me. He's done nothing but divide and stonewall. He is about as unpatriotic as it gets and cares nothing about this country.

Please, Kentucky. Do yourselves a favor. Give McConnell his walking papers. He could care less about the citizens of Kentucky.

A special election was held tonight to replace Democrat Representative Rocky Adkins in the KY House 99. This district had been a bedrock Democratic district for decades. Rocky Adkins won it in 2016 by 20+ points even as Trump was winning KY by 30+ points. The Democratic candidate in the special election had to run against a Republican who hammered him as Sanders socialist because he was a Democrat. Nothing was further from the truth as he was a pro-life conservative. However, he was defeated by about 15%. The lesson for all of us is that it is true that down-ballot Democrats will have a difficult time winning in districts that are not liberal because they will branded as a Sanders socialist. KY House 99 has served a bellwether for the danger of a Sanders nomination.

he was nominated.

The race has gone from possibly Kelly to likely McSally.

If Sanders is the nominee we have no chance.

Obama is a socialist.

Clinton is a socialist.

Biden is a socialist.

It's unfortunate liars are allowed to run for office, and the duped are allowed to vote.

And by the way, even Republican RCP isn't saying "likely McSally". Stop.

One more reminder. KY is a state where the Democratic nominee for Senate against the republican Senate leader wouldn't admit she voted for Obama. Nevermind socialism. Can't. Admit. To. Being. A. Democrat. Wow.

I am not for Bernie. But I AM SICK AND FUCKING TIRED OF BEING TOLD I CAN'T BE A PROUD DEMOCRAT!!!!!!!

Bernie Sanders "I am a Socialist and everyone knows that"

You, Me, Clinton, Biden and Obama are proud Democrats.

Sanders is a proud Socialist who is a temporary visitor to the Democratic Party who is running on a) massive wealth transfer b) middle class tax increase.

McGovern ran on wealth transfer and won 1 state

Mondale ran on a middle class tax increase and one state.

In Arizona the Democratic Establishment has worked hard to turn AZ from 2 Rep. Senators to 2 Dem Senators. We won the last election by 3%. We have a chance of winning the state for both the electoral college and the Senate with anyone but Sanders on the ticket

Democrats in deep blue states have no idea how much work a Sanders candidacy will cause. Sanders doesn't care because he is running against the Democratic establishment

Republican PACS had, in fact, written McSally off and not allocated funds to support her as Kelly has a substantial fund raising advantage and McSally has a hard ceiling. They now rate it likely McSally and pouring millions into media.

BTW The Republican Senate campaign today has moved beyond the 4 swing states and identified 3 Democratic Senators that were considered safe but now think that they can win by linking them with a proud Socialist party leader.
