And it is very dangerous.
He wants people to believe that if there is a Supreme Court Justice that might disagree with him, then they should recuse themselves from any case that may involve him. As if nothing can be adjudicated unless it is in his favor. Otherwise, it is biased and unfair.
In my opinion, he does it to confuse people and to deceive them in ways that run counter to the justice system we have had for over 200 years. No one can get unanimous agreement all of the time. That includes Donald Trump.
Also, he has been attacking our jury system in a similar manner. The Judge that ruled against Roger Stone had to be biased against Donald Trump to make such a decision. She was biased and unfair. Just as the jury forewoman was guilty of bias because she may have voted for someone other than Donald Trump in an election. As if no one is capable of looking at the evidence and coming to a decision independent of their political beliefs.
It is meant to confuse and disrupt our justice system. His intent is to deceive people into believing that unless everyone on a jury, or even the Supreme Court, voted for and supports Donald Trump, then it is not legitimate.
That is a dangerous position to tolerate.

(12,712 posts)I think my perspective is about a larger scope. In other words, my proposition is that that applies nationally and on many levels.
That's just from my study of him, (not very fun). You could take the reality TV show host as an example of good practice for honing some of his acquired skills. I know that using the word skills or implying that he has an manipulative expertise may sound like lauding him or even offensive, but I think that observation is important and recognizing it in more detail is essential because, the confidence game requires the mark to not realize what's really going on. They are damn good at it.
