CDC recommends men shave their beards to protect against coronavirus CORONAVIRUS by: CNN Newsource

https://www.kron4.com/health/coronavirus/cdc-recommends-men-shave-their-beards-to-protect-against-coronavirus/

Face masks and respirators are being used around the world in an effort to combat the massive global spread of the deadly coronavirus.

The CDC cautions that facial hair can interfere with those devices.

A CDC infographic displays dozens of styles, showing which ones are compatible with masks and respirators.

Some types of facial hair can keep the exhalation valve from working properly, according to health officials.

Styles such as side whiskers, handlebar mustaches, and several others are okay, but styles such as mutton chops and full beards are not recommended.

Things like goatees and villain mustache are okay, with caution.

the infographic from the CDC is about NIOSH respirator standards concerning facial hair and filtering facepiece respirators. The article is misleading but it's more entertaining the way they wrote it compared to the infographic's actual intent.

Then what the hell difference does it make?

However, if it meant I could avoid the flu, I would shave my ass too.

Is this what Pence is doing to keep us safe? I told you the Pence would be hard on the flu.

I did learn something new. I have not shaved my upper lip since my last day of boot camp, July 3, 1971. All that time, I never knew that I had a "paintbrush."
