Would it be a good idea to end the FISA Court process?

That may be under discussion between Trump and the Justice Department of AG Barr?

If it is repealed, would the House of Representatives have to approve? Or could it be done by the Justice Department?

Of course, Trump is very angry at the FISA Courts and he wants everyone to know. He was investigated as a subject in the Russia investigation and he wants it ended. Because he was innocent, just as the Mueller Report said. No one really believes he had anything to do with Russia. No real estate deals. No loans. No money laundering. Nothing. Clean as a whistle. Yeah! That's the ticket.

So when the FISA is ended, there will be no need to go thru a Court to get warrants. They can be issued from the White House. Will that be preferable?

Bad idea. Anything tRUMP doesn't like must be good for the rest of us. There's no reason abqtommy Feb 2020 #1

the FISA process can't be improved, ethically and transparently and we can do that.
