If we start closing while schools and workplaces for a single possible infection, even just for a day or two, the disruption could be massive and chaotic.
It has to be done but people need to realize it's a possibility and plan for it.

World leaders are getting sick and dying. Its pretty freaky right now.

(53,410 posts)but the way Trump has gutted our health and disaster response agencies maybe its better to overreact than to regret not reacting at all.
Were not prepared the way we used to be. Its better to remember Katrina than to dismiss it because of fear of overreacting.
In todays world kids can keep up with classes and people with work via the internet.
Theres nothing wrong with an abundance of caution. Children are in the high risk groups.
