Trump's CDC is telling California labs they will not be allowed to test for Coronavirus (except 2 labs in the state).
Is this part of Trump's plan to cover up the extent of the pandemic? Lawmakers out here are outraged by Trump's red tape preventing more testing.

(14,959 posts)and make the situation that the feds must use physical force to stop the state from performing those tests. See how that plays on cable news, Dotard. Even to non-blue states, that will make Trump look like a murderous ghoulish shit-bird.

(15,805 posts)retaliation attacks on a thriving blue state that fights off his mad decrees at every turn. During any sort of crisis, isn't the SOP a clarion call for an all hands on deck to deal with the problem? Obviously the more scientists we have working on finding a solution, the greater likelihood that someone will discover a solution.
As I see it, Trump can't claim bragging if California or any state develops a successful test, vaccine or cure, but if we limits testing labs to those managed by the CDC or NIH then he can pat himself on the back. There was also his remark about investors needed to develop a vaccine, making me think there's some sort of money involved.
