Coronavirus-THEY Don't Want Us To KNOW.

On MSNBC Saturday, health policy analyst Laurie Garrett warned that there is no way to know for sure — in large part, because our testing capabilities are nowhere near where they need to be.

“It’s far more infectious than the flu and far more deadly than the flu,” said Garrett, referring to comments from Trump and radio host Rush Limbaugh that it was no worse than the flu. “And it is like trying to keep from getting a cold. The best way to think about it is half of all common colds are from the same family of viruses, coronaviruses. If you think about how hard it is to not get a cold when your child comes home sneezing from school or when you go to the office and somebody you work with has a cold, then you realize how contagious it is.”

“The CDC can’t do the test … this is the problem,” continued Garrett. “The test failed. The test isn’t working. It has to be completely rethought, remade. And now the problem is you have jurisdiction after jurisdiction around the country saying, FDA, loosen your rules, let us develop our own tests. We can do it faster. We have the technology in place, we have the scientists in place. Let us do our testing.”

“In the entire United States, we’ve only tested about 450 people. That’s it,” said Garrett. “And you look across the world, and all sorts of countries are way ahead of us with tens of thousands of people having been tested. Even up to a million people being tested. We have no idea how pervasive this virus is in America. And anybody who’s telling you otherwise is full of crap.”

I'm feeling sore with a headache and sore throat, I don't think it's that coronavirus....no breathing problems or fever. But don't know for sure. I've had the flu shot so it can't be the common flu. But I sure would be more at ease if I could test for it.

I think Trump is purposely trying to kill Americans for Putin. Look, if Putin has convinced Trump that the flu is a hoax, he'll be able to kill tens of thousands, maybe millions, of Americans without firing a shot.

The Guardian News has been reporting story after story about just how this Virus is effecting World Trade and especially what is really happening in China's Manufacturing and Shipping Industries.

Sounds like this Virus out break could not have hit at a worse time of year,Chinese New Years where Families are more important than any other time of year.

BTW,all the schools in Vietnam will remain closed for two more weeks. Same for most of China.

about Covid-19 with health researchers around the world. The following is from Maclean's Magazine regarding the test development in Toronto at Sunnybrook Hospital:

"A 56-year-old man had arrived at Sunnybrook that day with a fever and dry cough. The patient had just returned from a three-month visit to Wuhan, China, leaving two days before the Chinese government shut down the city’s buses, trains, ferries and airport. An X-ray of his lungs showed results consistent with a viral pneumonia.

The lab stayed open all night working on the specimen; they needed to be absolutely sure one way or the other. Fortunately, Chinese scientists had already determined the genetic code for the new coronavirus and shared the results internationally. “During SARS [in 2003], it took us more than four months to figure out what the virus was,” Allen says. “We didn’t have a test. We didn’t know who had it and who didn’t.”

Allen describes the test for the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19, as being akin to making photocopies of the genetic code in the patient’s sample, and amplifying it to see if it matches the genetic code of the novel coronavirus. In the case in question, the results confirmed the suspicion: both nose and throat swab samples from the patient came back positive. The 2019 novel coronavirus was officially in Canada."
