What happens when millions of people under the influence of propaganda, crash into reality?

We may be witnessing this right now. If you look at history, whenever this has happened it has ended in a violent ugly collision. The people under the influence get their asses kicked and in the process hurt the people that fought against the propaganda.

Most of my GOP relatives afterwards claimed that they didn't actually vote for Nixon. Not really. Well, maybe just once.

At least they were kind of embarrassed.
Maybe that will happen with the Trumpers-- though they are so angry now, angry against everyone and everything, I don't know that they can come back.

Republicans were convinced that Romney would win. I kept seeing "too close to accurately predict"
turned out that it wasn't even close and they went back to bleating about voter fraud and Obama's birth certificate.
When Trump loses in November you can expect a lot of over the top crap from Fox News but then they'll
go back to bleating about voter fraud and the deep state.

The 47% takers, the dog on the roof of his car, he was taking Big Bird off the air, his negative press with Bain Capital after so many got laid off, and his piss-poor choice for VP all derailed his chances.

Talking about hunting varmints and the height of Michigan's trees was just comic relief.

Whatever was responsible for Romney's loss, the GOP faithful and Fox Nation
were convinced that Obama could not win. He not only won, it wasn't close.
When reality landed on the Republicans they squealed for a few days and went right back to bleating
out the Fox News talking points.
When Trump loses they'll do the same thing.

Romney wasn't entirely evil like Trump is. He just thought all of America agreed with his narrow Thurston Howell outlook on things.

FOX will never change. They'll piss and moan anytime we win. "Not fair! All those people voting Democrat!"

They just don't get that we aren't all racist simpletons.

He's going to have the justice department (Bill Barf) make sure the election is overturned. He's going to make it the ugliest election anyone in this country could ever imagine.

But in the end, the new President will be sworn in. The Trumpers will squeal for a few days,
probly threaten civil war, then go back to bleating whatever talking points are being spewed
by Tucker and Sean and all the lesser Fox talking heads. Deep State, Voter Fraud. Deep State, Librul Media. Deep State, Swamp.

were lots of cults for this or that person too).

These people crashing into the wall of reality? Perhaps maybe they've deluded themselves for far too long and believed 'facts' that they made up themselves. Facts however, have an inconvenient attribute of being true.

I'll remember these idiots that believed everything that the orange anus told them (and they believed every word of it). I will remember the disgusting remarks that rump made towards our immigrants, our handicapped, and others unlucky enough to be targets of his foul mouth. I'll remember his supporters especially and will never forgive them, for they would never do the same for us. They're the ones that put an grossly incompetent person in office (as well as the cheating that rump did on the sidelines w/ the Russians and other nefarious actors).

This sadly, is who is leading efforts to deal w/ the CV (supposedly). I dread things to come, being that motor mouth knows that he's lost his effectiveness (3 news conferences in 3 days), and he will lash out, ineffectively, being that no one is listening anymore to him anymore.
