2 African American Senators? That would be pretty amazing!

(17,747 posts)I'd love to see Lindsey Graham kicked to the curb, but I think he's going to be their Senator until he quits or dies. We could have a black man elected Senator in Mississippi this year, too, but that's not likely either. Cindy Hyde-Smith isn't a strong incumbent, but she's got the R next to her name, so she'll win.

(17,747 posts)That would be quite a coup if a Democrat ousts one of Trump's biggest supporters. The next 7 months are going to be crucial for the fate of this country. I expect just about anything to happen, so although I think the South will still go for Trump and Rs in down ballot races, I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

(2,856 posts)Just saw the newest attack ad against Harrison. Harrison
needs to start getting ads going against Graham. I want Graham
out as my senator, then I want him out of the state. He can keep his head up
Trumps a** and follow Trump to FL.

(114,507 posts)I live in a state where white folks are just another minority and are outnumbered by the Hispanic minority. Everybody's a statistical minority here and I like it that way.
I believe that with a fair election, we can unseat Graham.
