I'd love to see Lindsey Graham kicked to the curb, but I think he's going to be their Senator until he quits or dies. We could have a black man elected Senator in Mississippi this year, too, but that's not likely either. Cindy Hyde-Smith isn't a strong incumbent, but she's got the R next to her name, so she'll win.

That would be quite a coup if a Democrat ousts one of Trump's biggest supporters. The next 7 months are going to be crucial for the fate of this country. I expect just about anything to happen, so although I think the South will still go for Trump and Rs in down ballot races, I wouldn't bet the farm on it.
