POTUS gives good advice about avoiding novel coronavirus

...just not the SITTING POTUS (as usual):

Barack Obama ✔@BarackObama

Protect yourself and your community from coronavirus with common sense precautions: wash your hands, stay home when sick and listen to the @CDCgov and local health authorities. Save the masks for health care workers. Let’s stay calm, listen to the experts, and follow the science.

The problem however, is that the Trump administration is constantly casting doubt on experts or trying to shut them up or shut them out. Trump's greatest damage is what he has inflicted on the institutions that underpin democracy and knowledge.

His whole strategy has been to lie and lie big so that the notion of truth and expertise is knocked down to the level of opinion.

President Obama is right. We should remain calm and listen to the experts. The problem is whether we are hearing from the experts and if they are being allowed to give us accurate information.

Giving out bottles of soap at the next Trump rally as a way to "burn" Obama and his common sense solutions. Remember the tire gauges?
