The danger is that this is only the beginning of the pandemic.

When it gets worse, it could get exponentially worse.

It is a logical conclusion that there are more cases than are being reported. Some people do not or cannot go to a doctor.

We hope that we are near the end of this epidemic but, we may only be at the beginning.

We should hope for the best but we should prepare for the worst.

Bullshit and fake news will be of little help to us.

but they are a totalarian regime who can order 700 million to stay home or face being shot. Not so likely in the US where this will run wild and free for months and months

before suitable measures would be in place way toooooooooooooooo late

And not from fearmongers or doomsday nuts, but from scientists.

I think it is likely we will see a global pandemic. If a pandemic happens, 40% to 70% of people world-wide are likely to be infected in the coming year. What proportion is asymptomatic, I can't give a good number.

that all is good and COVID-19 is now contained. This thing is just beginning to blossom here in the U.S. The current death numbers are the tip of what we might expect by the time CV has retreated.

Kellyanne, these aren't the final numbers; these are the beginning numbers. Fool.
