(25,406 posts)established at that time, when I rolled over my 401K. Other than a brief stint in a targeted retirement fund that I quickly got my ass out of, and only sustained about a thousand dollars of loss, it's been in a money market fund that doesn't really go up or down.
The market is for gamblers.

(37,370 posts)since Bush. It used to be you could get a decent return on savings. But cheap money for corporations was deemed more important than people. Pushing people into investing makes Wall St. happy.
