I literally don't know how much more of this "President" I can take...

...trying to watch his "press conference" today about the Coronavirus...all I wanted to do, and I'm not exaggerating, was lie down, shut my eyes, and drift off. Seeing this so-called human being ranting like a maniac...I dunno. I just reached some sort of psychic breaking point today. This issue is so serious, and he is so totally fucked up...which means, of course, that we are too. The thought of even ten more months of this makes me feel physically ill. The prospect of four more years... My stress level between now and November is going to be unbearable. My blood pressure is already sky high, and I can't afford doctor visits or meds for it. I find myself thinking that maybe, if he pushes it high enough, I'll have my long-expected stroke, and I'll be out of this nightmare. Then I laugh at myself, of course, and repeat my mantra: "Don't let the bastards get you down". After awhile, it even works...kind of. But it gets harder and harder... Rant over. Thanks for letting me blow off steam...

...of course, I don't wish such a fate upon anyone. Of course... …I've been reading your posts about your area. Take care of yourself, OK?

It feels unbearable at times. Try to unplug for periods of time if you can. Watch funny, upbeat movies, read, go for walks, spend time with people who cheer you up.

Take care of yourself! He's not worth it.

I want to get real dark in my thinking when it comes to Trump and his cronies, but yours is the better way.

I muted it right away of course but I ended up having to turn the channel. Just looking at the psycho piece of shit instantly increased my BP dramatically.

Let the hosts and the pundits and DU fill you in. I feel exactly the same way you do so I can tell you it truly helps to avoid watching him or listening to his voice. The relief will be immediate and once you feel better you won’t want to watch him, yet you can stay updated.

i don't watch or listen but read anything that portrays him
maybe 1 or 2 at most (vids here) , but i can't stand to see or hear him at all
i can cope with the news here, but not on tv except local, and if he comes on then, mute, change channel, disconnect immediately

i'm better for it

I am angry and totally flummoxed as to how he is allowed to remain in the White House... what kind of a society allows this to continue... that is my angst
