I love this time of the season. Yeah, we lose an hour but to me this signifies the first important step to ending Winter, and that Spring is around the corner. Love that it gets dark later too! Some people don't like the adjustments, but it's never taken me more than a day or two to get used to. Anyway:

Why??? Is it always only 4 months and somehow I was unaware?
Polybius

(8,514 posts)I drive through a construction project on I25 in Colorado, and it sucks a whole lot worse in the dark. It was just getting to the point where it was getting pretty light in the morning by the time I reached it. Now I'll be driving through it in the dark again.
At our latitudes Albuquerque and Colorado is stupid and uses more AC energy etc.

(18,494 posts)Like I said in NM it makes sense to keep MST since construction workers, etc. can start when it's cooler.

I have an old wall clock from the 40s that used to hang in my grandfathers barbershop. It keeps perfect time, but I cant adjust the hands, so I need to unplug it.
