Jeez, US COVID-19 cases jump over 38% today (+271)

Now at 975. There were 4 deaths, up to 30 total.

Edit: I updated the numbers to the total for the day on the worldometer site which uses GMT as a reference point.

we've been told the numbers will jump quite a bit when they start testing regularly.

Much less now with their lockdowns/quarantines. The US will have to do the same to achieve any semblance of control.

We're just starting to test people - so much of the increase is due to testing people who should have been tested weeks ago.
