I would think Harris would make an excellent US Attorney General.

(3,784 posts)Additionally, I think it's an incredibly wise choice. When the top of the ticket is old, you have to pair him with someone young, competent, and experienced. Voters have to feel comfortable about the running mate stepping into the job. I think Kamala Harris is a great choice.

(40,212 posts)Joe is kind of low key and Kamala not so much. And they look nice when standing next to each other.

Kamala for AG. She will go after Bar aND Trump with no objection from Joe. But Kamala would make a wonderful VP as well.

(14,565 posts)Abrams is too liberal and Harris is not the type who would fare well in terms of net approval rating during a campaign. She is a prosecutorial barker. I have hosted enough debate watching parties among swing voters to understand how they react to someone like that. Female swing voters would nitpick Kamala Harris from all directions. Harris had a 12% net negative in approval when she dropped out of the race.
Abrams had 42% of Georgians rejecting her as too liberal for the state during her governorship defeat. That should be a disqualifying fact all by itself. Never worry about day to day details when the big picture already points to the headline.
The was a great post in Primaries the other day regarding the "total alignment" that Klobuchar would bring with Biden.
It is foolish to believe that contrast is necessary or beneficial. The midwest is so pivotal to the electoral college outcome we have to unapologetically double up with those states in mind. Everything else will take care of itself.

(1,332 posts)I have said from the beginning, Biden and Harris. Even before she dropped out. As much as I would love to Kamala slice and dice trump in a debate, I guess wed have to settle pious Pence.
