We will have to do on our own what the govt won't do, or do in a timely manner.

I self quarantined a week ago.

Haven't been out of the house for 3 days... prepared for 60 more.

that said, I think the goes into the summer because such actions are not universal... and many people are still on wash your hands drill... not realizing that this virus is just way more infectious and hardy than other viruses (I'm not saying don't wash your hands, only that this is not sufficient).

Anyway, if I was religious, I would pray for my country and the world (much of which has yet to go through this... but is only a few weeks behind us).

We went out for a necessary medical appointment, and that's it. We have our guest room stocked with a Costco run and a couple final grocery store trips made last week. Also, we completed our move from NY to SC a few months ago, and a lot of the stuff from our basement pantry there is in boxes in the garage, and we can live off of all that.

Hopefully, our prescriptions for maintenance drugs can still be mailed to us, it's hard to stockpile anything more than about three months at a time of those. But, we will either split pills or take every other day if it looks like it needs to come to that.

... we might all succumb to being commonly dumb.

I see what is happening there and wonder how far in the future we will mirror them.

is dead for the rest of the year, and probably for awhile after that. I know I'm not going to be so casual about taking trips, and I sure as hell won't ever get on a prison, er, cruise ship.

except if you have a job. Everyone in Vegas is acting like this is nothing and going about their merry ways. No mention at all at my work about working from home (which I can easily do). UNLV is still open. Casinos are still open. A few buffets are going to be shut down but pretty much everything else is still going on.

I'm from northern Italy - I have family and friends some of whom are in critical condition. This is not a joke.

dispensaries in my area (San Diego). It may be medicinal for some (me included)but since health insur doesn't cover it the govt probably won't consider it as an Rx.
