What happened to the "two strains- one mild one virulent" story?

Seems like Italy definitely got the worse one. Has there been anything more on that?

It hasn't been confirmed and the World Health Organization might even have expressed doubts. But I'm fascinated by it.

Iran is another country I'm wondering about, with respect to the virulent form (if it exists.)

Let's see if that prediction that we're 10 - 15 days behind Italy pans out. One thing we haven't had yet is horror stories about hospitals overrun to the point that ORs need to be turned into ICUs, etc...
