We need FEDERAL PAID SICK LEAVE, STAT. Not a fucking loan.

And banning people from Europe, that's not helping either. The virus is already here. What's being done to test people to find out who fucking has this thing, which schools and companies etc. need to close temporarily? What's being done to get food and medical supplies to people who are quarantined (including the elderly and immunosuppressed, like my mother)?

78. Well, my kids' plans just got screwed.

They were to leave for Sweden for March 21-30, so will be within the travel restriction. My son and his fam are in the process of moving there, and they were to fly over to find housing. My son's new position kicks in on June 1, so he has to be there even if it means leaving the family behind.

This was to be a great opportunity for my son, and we're all very excited for him, but the COVID-19 situation is overshadowing what should be a great time for their family.

Of course, their well-being is #1.
