but the ban relates only to EU countries and non-EU Schengen-area countries (e.g., Norway).

Ireland is not part of the travel ban. Nor is the UK. So the accusation that Trump chose an area which -- by total coincidence -- left out his resorts/properties holds...

Thats why when I fly home from Ireland I go through US customs in Dublin and the flight is treated like a domestic arrival back here. I thought the other poster was talking specifically about EU membership.
