Here's a thought

It's becoming clear that Trump was probably exposed to the corona virus. Perhaps Pence was, too.

So, if they both get seriously ill, could the 25th Amendment make Speaker Pelosi the Acting President?

enough time to choose a VP and have him or her approved by both houses of congress. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

(I know, they already are!)

If the president is going to be under anesthesia, for example, he has to sign a letter temporarily giving power to the vice president. Presumably, the same thing would have to happen if the VP then ended up unconscious, too.

I know this will never happen for multiple reasons. It's just intriguing.
