General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsBrazil is only showing 77 COVID-19 cases. Bolsonaro and an aid have both tested positive.
Now, given Bolsonaro, an emerging dictator, has every reason to pull what I believe Trump has attempted to do (cover-up true numbers by hindering testing) and thus, I take the 77 figure for Brazil with a HUGE grain of salt, the question remains:
Based on their time in the US, when they departed and returned, and when they became ill, it appears either is possible. Hmm. One wonders how closely CDC and /or Florida Dept of Health are now looking at and epidemiologically tracing Mar A Lago attendees. And even more what Brazil will say about COVID-19 in Brazil and Bolsonaro's infection.

(102,352 posts)That is not a likely scenario. Negative to positive on repeated tests, yes. But with RT-PCR to go immediately from positive to negative is not.
