West Virginia is a beautiful state with some wonderful people ... I have visited there a # of times
Rt 219 is as pretty a drive as anyplace in the world

Yes, you have people there who are poor and or uneducated, many times they vote against their own
best interests, and the racism is part of the culture for generations .... drugs and poverty have been
hammers there

You can be sure that C-19 is already there but they just haven't found any cases. OH next door
has 100,000 cases. (OH Dept. of Health projections)

BTW if I was over a cliff and hanging onto a rope I would nobody else in the world outside of a
"good old boy" from Appalachia on the other end of the rope.

6. First - they've only done 31 tests in the entire state of WV

But one of my wing-nut friends tells me that COVID 19 swept through WV in Oct/Nov (before we exported it to China) and that's why there are no WV cases now. They've already had it.

I have not been able to convince him that the science makes it pretty clear where it started, where it moved to, etc. I cannot convince him that the flu and COVID 19 are two different things. As far as he's concerned no one (not doctors, not tests) can tell the difference, so we only gave this a name after it went to China (where bad health care and crowded conditions made it grow).

There were two of us trying to inform him last night. Neither was getting through, and today he posted somethig about WV, with a condescending reference to FB biologists.

I think it is a variation of the whole thing is a hoax, or the whole thing is a plot to impeach Trump again. The third option is that it is a government conspiracy to grab all of their rights (declare an emergency, then cancel school, sporting events, etc.)
