A couple weeks ago, the virus was a hoax.
Then, there was a task force.
Now, DOLTUS calls a national emergency.
So, the hoax is a national emergency?
Hmmmm.

(197,699 posts)Chain grocery stores in poorer areas of town often have what you are looking for.
I was in a Food Lion yesterday and they still had a lot of TP. It's one of my go to places before snow hurricanes etc. Dollar General stores too but they have a few items of a lot of things not massive numbers of each.

(27,851 posts)But once I walked in saw the lines of people checking out, I left without without purchasing. Rarely are there long lines in my Target. Did take a walk down to the paper goods aisle to checkout the situation and saw the empty shelves.

(5,175 posts)They can source stock from across the chain of stores and you don't have to wait in line. You might need to wait another day or two but I haven't even had to do that where I live.
Maybe you save three or four bucks getting stuff in person at Costco but that's an hour or two of your time plus exposure to craziness and potentially the virus.
If you can afford it, do yourself a favour and shop online.

I get you. I'm not looking for logic, either. Just sharpening talking points for some I I know who think the covid thing is overblown. And, I'd guess a majority of those voted for "it". Just wanted a needle to use if they blather about it again.

If you really wanted this to spread you wouldn't be prepared to test people.
Mitch McConnel throws his hands up and goes home in a national emergency.

They must feel rapturous.
