1. Even as Happy Talk Donnie has abandoned his "Hoax" allegation,

he has NOT walked it back. He hasn't SAID that he was mistaken, or that the Hoax is NOT a hoax.

So, it's likely still true that MILLIONS of Trump's supporters believe that the COVID-19 pandemic is a hoax, because Donnie hasn't said that it isn't. It's quite likely, then, that there will be MILLIONS of people who will get infected because they are ambivalent about protecting themselves and others.

Trump never admits he's wrong. His toadies give him sharpies and put out false press releases to back him up.

When confronted with his actions, he simply lies and says "I never said that" or "That's not what I meant" or "I was just joking." These are all in his standard playbook. He will continue to use them.

I've heard one RWNJ say "soon to zero" doesn't mean that it won't go up, even to the thousands - just that in some short amount of time, it will crest, and go donw to zero." How do you say anything to somebody like that, other than "Sir, are you insane?"
