Just curious.

Got to thinking about this the other day and can't make up my mind. Which would you rather see? Mitch McConnell defeated in November, or retain his seat but the Dems take control of the Senate and name Elizabeth Warren Majority Leader? I mean, I'd love to see him get his ass handed to him in the election, but the vision of Elizabeth shutting him down every time he opens his mouth just kind of gives me the warm fuzzies.

Chance of beating Trump, maybe because she’s female, as sad as that type of thinking is.

Maybe they just wanted to keep her as their Senator.

Doesn’t mean they don’t support her.

I feel like you are trying to stir some stuff up. Without much factual basis.

If that means Mitch keeps his seat, so be it.

That really seems like the practical choice. It would be nice to see Mitch defeated and maybe even tossed in prison, but we have legislation that must be passed and judges that must be confirmed and we need the senate to do that.

I can't say I am an expert or have been following the races and statistics closely enough to say that for sure. But I do think that if we manage to get a blue wave big enough to take the senate, Trump will be gone.

Kentucky Democrats have run good candidates against the Turtle the last two times his seat was up for grabs, but both candidates fell short. It's equally unlikely that Mitch will be defeated this time, but, if I had my choice, I would see him gone. I would be fine having Chuck Schumer as Majority Leader. If we win Mitch's seat, it is almost certain that we would also win control of the Senate, but if this hypothetical is suggesting that we can either win the Senate or get rid of Mitch, I would take winning the Senate. President Biden will have little chance of passing liberal legislation unless we control that legislative body. If the Turtle ends up being Minority Leader, so be it.
