Looks like the right-wingers are finally taking this virus seriously, and it's not good news.

Someone from San Antonio just reported that there is a line for ammo.

I'm worried that they were slow to prepare and now they might use those weapons to make up the difference.

Somebody get them some beer. It might be a while before they see the whites of their enemies' eyes.

3. Ammunition Sales Soar in Response to Coronavirus Panic

As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) hits the US, it's not just hand sanitizer and flu medications that are flying off the shelves. While Walmart and Target are running out of emergency essentials and "currently unavailable" is popping up on various Amazon searches, the rush to be prepared has also reached the ammunition industry.

Sales also varied by state, with North Carolina and Georgia coming in with the largest increase (179% and 169% respectively). These were closely followed by Pennsylvania (140%) and Texas (128%). Other states that saw a big boom are:

Florida: 76%
Illinois: 67%
New York: 48%
Ohio: 40%

I'm in North Carolina and live out in the country. I've noticed a lot of extra target shooting every day for the past couple weeks.

They are so reactive and have been just itching to use all those weapons for a long time. They just long for an excuse to start shooting people.

And, just like with tax cuts, it's off the mark and totally useless in this case.
