It's Amazing The Fact That There Are No Tests Available Isn't Pissing Off More People

I live in Seattle, may have been exposed (probably have anyway) and can't get a test.

People should be really pissed off, and they aren't.

What a country.

Our nominee will have to hammer over and over on the fact that Trump greatly worsened the pandemic by firing the Pandemic Response Team in the White House, and by blocking access to the WHO test so his cronies could profiteer by kludging up a hokey test of their own.

They may be in the cloud of unknowing or graduates of Dunning-Kruger University. I don't know. Of course, watching Fox news and giving credence to the White House doesn't really help matters.

Give it time. When it is swatting them right in the face, something may give.

this whole "social distancing" two-step .. is basically a fig leaf try to cover up the fact that we're STILL not doing the TESTING !!

It is clearly impossible that all of us will (or should) be staying at home for the next 2 months .. so the only thing that really makes any sense as far as addressing the issue, is to identify those with the virus .. and isolate !

And, yes .. that means millions of tests .. for sick and healthy alike. Test at schools, test in drive thrus, test the military, test at work ... Just get it done!

considering that most people won't go to the hospital unless they're literally dying because they're afraid the cost will bankrupt them and people will just go to work sick because they'll get fired if they don't? "no tests for COVID-19" is just a continuation of normality.
