How many non-Covid fatalities will there be because of Covid?

As ERs get filled and medical staff availability challenged people with critical medical conditions and trauma won’t be seen.

I just told my mom to be extremely cautious with her health routine because for at least the next three months it’s probably going to be hard to get emergency medical attention of any kind.

I’m seeing my primary doctor tomorrow so I can get all blood work done and scripts if needed. I also stocked up on OTC cold and flu meds just in case I or a family member needs them.

I've been trying to explain to my young, healthy co-workers why they too are at risk with this very line of logic. It's not going so well.

some get it. Others notsomuch. Some play the God card—that he’ll “take care of it” which is the thing crooked politicians’ love most. And there’s my younger coworkers who I at least had the chance to explain how they could put their loved ones in jeopardy for Covid or non-Covid emergency barriers even if they stay healthy.
