I grew up reading how a slew of Wall Streeters leapt from skyscrapers the day of the great crash of 1929. So I did get the reference.
9-11 was another catastrophe that played out in NYC in the financial district. So there's an overlay of image and memory.

I actually started to laugh but then suddenly it wasnt funny.
Its a strange sensation.

That story became folklore after a while, but wasn't true.
This cartoon did remind me of 9/11, where victims DID jump to escape the flames.
Unimaginable horror..
