The Senate will not leave until a second bill, this one generated by the republican task forces and WH, and much greater, is passed. Mitch is all about bending the coronavirus curve now. And making sure credit is not given to democratic colleagues wherever and whenever they can. He said his colleagues should gag and pass the House bill. Lovely.

to what he told Republican Senators to do. This was all planned out when Moscow Mitch refused to be involved in the initial negotiations when the House bill was drafted. Democrats assumed republicans would only accept an austere bill. They were wrong. Mitch is going to be Santi Claus. He is already saying the House bill is inadequate.

5. That's About The Best We Can Expect From The Repugs With Respect To Being Bipartisan....

When they craft their bills - and include everything under the sun in it - like payroll tax relief that takes away from Medicare and Social Security - and when the Dems fight it or not vote for it - they will say the Dems are partisan.
