They said that they are going on the honor system for now.
They're pretty expensive though, but Shoprite hasn't instituted the same policy.

(8,958 posts)the assumption is that we seniors are not carriers but we are just like the general population...if we've been exposed and we don't know it we're carriers

(15,486 posts)A store full of seniors will most likely keep themselves socially distant. Yes, they may be infected, but so may younger people (with a stronger possibility, given that seniors already were more socially isolated than the youth).

Plus I've been a night owl all my life.
I go shopping before noon, tho, on Sundays here, 'cause almost everyone is in church, no crowds.
Or at least used to, could be they will close churches...
My neighbor is mid-80's, she's up with the birds at 6am and does all her shopping by the time I am getting out of bed. For her, a born and bred Southern woman, beat the heat is important.

(8,958 posts)so many seniors are not particularly mobile...they are accompanied by their children or grandchildren or care givers... add to that the employees are not seniors..that's the dilemma
